Glider Winch Calibrator
With the increasing use of winches for competition flying, a need has arisen for easy to use calibration equipment. From January 2002 the international F3B rules have defined a calibration method utilising a clamp-on current transducer with appropriate measuring equipment.
This microprocessor based Winch Calibrator serves as a sampling meter, automatically performing the measurements required by the F3B rules. The resistance parameter that dictates compliance is automatically calculated when a set of readings have been acquired.
